Welcome to Peter Lance Counselling

I am a qualified counsellor and social worker specialising in relationships, mediation and conflict coaching, and therapy for dealing with traumatic memories. My life experience has led me to understand that relationships based upon equality are profoundly meaningful.

I hold a Bachelor of Social Work, Graduate Diploma of Public Health, Graduate Certificate in Disability Studies, and Relationship Counselling Certification. In my project work with Public Health consultants in Brisbane, and as a Senior Project Officer with the Community Service & Research Centre (University of Queensland), I produced literature reviews and briefing papers on a range of health topics.

I have worked as a family relationship educator for a Non-Government Organisation (NGO); and tutored in Social and Behavioural Sciences at the University of Queensland and Southern Cross University. Within the Disability field, I have held middle management positions in two NGOs, to provide Children’s Services and Residential Services. I love surfing and the Australian environment. Earlier in my life I worked as a landscape gardener and still enjoy working in reforestation projects and garden design.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of the therapy I offer, please feel free to contact me.
